Some of the magical moths that stopped by last night…

Sometimes a gate is more than a boundary—it marks the start of a journey.

I’m delighted to be formalising a lease that gives Wildlore CIC a home at Laughton Greenwood: a woodland where people can slow down, reconnect with the more-than-human world, and find belonging.

A beautiful film that very much resonates with our work here at Wildlore CIC

Something to watch over a coffee—& maybe a little cake 🤗

Gathering The Tools…

Travelling west to a woodland that’s gifted both a ‘thin place’ for my practice & much needed medicine for my mind.

Imbolc approaches & the spirits of my ancestors demand a fire & some intention spoken aloud 🔥

View from the hammock tonight at Laughton Greenwood

I’m undertaking a 2nd moth survey for the year + I’ve also deployed a static bat detector to see what other stars of the night sky are flying about the woods.

"What might change if society were shaped not around extraction and productivity, but around nervous system wellbeing, ecological belonging, and relational intelligence?"

Today is Earth Day 🌍

And I find myself here again… drawn back to the quiet, living world. Not as an escape, but as a return.

Wellbeing isn’t something we make, it’s something we remember. In Wildlore, kinship is felt: we belong within this web of life.

Not fixing. Not forcing. Just reconnecting.

“At Wildlore CIC, we create spaces where people can heal, grow and remember their place within the world. Through earth-based practices, we cultivate reconnection, resilience, and regeneration — anchored in deep ecological ethics and a living sense of kinship with all life.”

I stay close to the ones who say it out loud—how much they miss you, how deeply they care, how fully they love you. The ones who see you, 𝑣𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑑𝑎𝑡𝑒 you, 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑤 𝑢𝑝 with emotional responsibility, and 𝑛𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 make you doubt your worth.

Wild Earth
Occupation: Adventurer, Bodyguard

Wild Earth was formerly a Wood Wailer but left Gridania with V'Sahm and Ezykiel. She does adventurer and bodyguard jobs while traveling. She knows V'Sahm the longest and is fiercely protective of this adorable but stupid boy. Same for Ezykiel.
