The former Dowanhill Church on Hyndland Street in Glasgow. Designed in a Normandy Gothic style and built in 1865, it was the first major commission for the architect William Leiper.

He went on to design a number of other impressive buildings including Partick Burgh Halls, Dumbarton Burgh Halls, the Templeton Carpet Factory at Glasgow Green and the Banqueting Hall of Glasgow City Chambers.
