Another scorching day was the perfect opportunity to take an air-conditioned scenic drive through #NationalPark Number 29— #WindCave. A few pronghorns and bison, lots of prairie dogs (new one for the list) but most animals were hiding from the heat. Beautiful scenery tho. #SouthDakota #48states

A couple weeks ago, paper bags ran out at the Wind Cave park store. Old maps stepped in.

Staff folded 2025 Black Hills National Forest maps into bags, so customers postcards were safe and expired maps got a fresh life.

A practical bit of reuse from behind the counter.
