In the '70s I had a twice handed-me-down '60s Rambler in Vancouver, where it rains a lot. Every time I drove uphill the windshield wipers stopped. Turned out they were powered by engine vacuum, and the wiper-motor chamber leaked a bit. The extra load of climbing a hill cut the vacuum.

Oh yeah I find it so fun! This same artist has very famous hit song where the chorus is ending each line with an English word because he’s doing similes (i.e “shake off your sweat like a wiper”) until end where since he says the word “callejera” he ends it with “street fighter”
