4 1/2 hours in the studio!
Lots of glazing. Lots of dancing. Even some singing.
Tomorrow I’ll finish glazing. Prep the kiln shelves. Maybe even load the kiln for a glaze firing.
It feels great to be back in the studio.

Finally the teardrop shapes are opening new doors to me. Sculptural pieces are tempting me. How far can I push a thrown form. How far can I stretch the clay until it collapses. Where will this take me next year?

Drying time changes with temperatures and humidity levels. I tried to trim some pieces thrown Tuesday. This piece wasn’t dry enough and jumped off the wheel it resulted in interesting marks. I added texture, design and shape. #muddersdream #wisconsinpottery #pottery #pottersofbluesky #clay
