A special day for the historic Pichi Richi Railway with an event involving horses. They got to ride on the train from Quorn to Woolshed Flat, then horses and riders enjoyed a trail ride. The horses were surprisingly relaxed despite the noise and steam. I guess it's not their first rodeo 😄

In 2013 we camped at Mungo National Park NSW. The old woodshed was built in 1869 and provides some interesting lighting when sheltering from the hot summer sun.

I took myself on an excursion and did a day walk to Woolshed Creek Hut. Perfect weather, perfect timing (I had almost complete solitude despite the 26-bunk hut being fully booked for tonight), amazing views, and I was back home, tired and happy and sunkissed, by 3pm.
Did I mention that I ❤️ 🇳🇿?
