As for sapphic comics that are not Japanese, right now I'm hooked to Haven and the fallen giants. There's mistery, action, wordbuilding, lovable characters... and the art is nice and colorful.

In version of Buddy, I might remove the section set in the real world and tell the entire story through the show-within-a-show. Partly because Grace getting sucked into the TV was the goofiest part of the whole film, but mostly because Buddy's show invites wordbuilding questions that excite me.

Because I haven't consistently written in English since high school, and Russian has much more polysemes, much less verb tenses (only four if we include subjunctive, and that's it) and completely different wordbuilding

The most hilarios scene is of course Husk and Angel bantering right before deeply upset Cherri who gradually gets really annoyed and I think begins to see that those two are a thing, whatever it is.

Got hit with a novella-length story idea last night; found myself still awake at three in the morning, wordbuilding. As usual, the proof of a story is not the idea but the execution--but at least this is self-contained enough that I'll know relatively quickly whether the execution can prove itself.

But I do like all the neat little ways they mix and match fashion across human history.
