#ficwip heard me saying #WhiteTrail was gonna hit 250k before the end of the month and took inspiration for this #wordgameswednesday.

Their acceptance into the familial bonds of the Fukurōdani academy group made their world grow beyond just volleyball. The old rivalry with Nekoma now felt something like a siblings' quarrel. Their fallen volleyball club took flight, and extended. There were people excited to see them in flight, just like how the country boys were excited to see the city slickers — as Tanaka loved to say — change and grow with them. Asahi felt safe, even when he was stuffed, even when his spikes were digged, even when he failed a receive, he was safe. There were always people walking beside him, on their own trail to the top, but still walking right beside him. No one stopped, no one stayed behind, and they surrounded him all the way to new heights.
