**Ende Juli und Anfang August führt die Stadtforst Wolfsburg erneut gemeinsam**
**mit dem Internationalen Jugendgemeinschaftsdienst Deutschland (IJGD) ein Workcamp durch. Die Gruppe ist international zusammensetzt aus Jugendlichen aus Italien, Mexico, Japan, der Türkei, Spanien und Deutschland. Die 16 bis 26 Jahre alten Frauen und Männer arbeiten für zwei Wochen an verschiedenen forstwirtschaftlichen Projekten mit.**
Darunter fallen zum Beispiel unter anderem Naturschutzarbeiten am Kalkberg in Sülfeld sowie der Aufbau von Hordengattern als Wildverbissschutz in der Nordstadt. Aus Anlass des Aufenthaltes wurden die internationalen Gäste von Oberbürgermeister Dennis Weilmann im Rathaus offiziell begrüßt. Darüber hinaus nahmen am Empfang unter anderem der Ratsvorsitzende Ralf Krüger sowie Stadtförster Dirk Schäfer teil. Zum Ende trugen sich alle Teilnehmenden des Workcamps in das Gästebuch der Stadt ein.
„Dass sich eine internationale Gruppe von Jugendlichen zusammenfindet und sich hier bei uns in Wolfsburg in ihrer Freizeit für solche Projekte wie den Naturschutz engagiert, finde ich beachtlich und zolle meinen Respekt. Für ihre Unterstützung spreche ich ihnen meinen großen Dank aus“, hob Oberbürgermeister Dennis Weilmann während des Empfanges hervor.

I feel like some kind of image would be nice for the less literate people out there. It it easy for people to assume everyone has basic literacy and it's just not accurate.
Also any revolution that's putting all the artists in workcamps or uses them solely for propaganda is not it.
