It is important to note thst this is happening during faculty contract negotiations with an administration thst has refused to negotiate on workload or salary.

Understood in this light, this was a particularly ghoulish move.
Hey, journalists, anyone interested in picking this up?

Faculty / students SUCCESSFULLY pushing back on an administrative attempt to enforce a year-round $chedule --

I know one of the main faculty organizers against the year round thing, can get you access to all those folks--
Cal Poly delays year-round operations after objections from faculty, students
The new calendar won’t be implemented until the summer of 2029.

v0 of anything can & should be implemented in postgres (sqlite if it's local). it's fine to pick something else later once you actually know what your workload is. but you can probably just keep using pg

I would like a study into how many people historically did one person's current job. In every sector. It feels like everywhere is just, reducing numbers whilst increasing workload. It's tough to stay engaged during a pile-on.

While we're on the topic of tinkering here, though, I'd cut down on the federal court workload elsewhere: abolish diversity jurisdiction.

So they're throwing Voice Actors under the bus twice. 1) using AI so they don't have to pay voice actors, 2) saying a Voice Actor couldn't possibly handle the workload.

What an awful studio.

Do not fall complacent because the polls say one thing. Do not listen to early projections and assume your race is over one way or another. Do not be dissuaded by long lines or a heavy workload dumped on your lap. This election matters. Your vote matters. We can only do this together.

I forgot to say I was closed for quickie comms in October, but I should hopefully be opening for them again in about a week or so, depending on how my workload goes. So keep your eyes peeled if you're interested 👀

#SketchtoberS2026 Day END: To summerize This year was a bit harder to stay consistent due to just the massive workload I had this month but I'm happy that I managed to do this again. I'm also happy that I got to draw some more cool people! #Furryart #Furryartist

I'd imagine that with the workload of, say, weekly serialization of a manga with great art AND writing, doing it for five years is a great way to guarantee you CAN'T do it again.

The ULA chip in the ZX Spectrum handled video, keyboard scanning, and cassette I/O. One chip did all of that. Today, that workload would require a standup meeting, three sprints, and a Jira board with a Gantt chart.
