Had a cute idea for Harpies in my little headworld I got going on so it gave me an excuse to draw up new ocs, a species, and worldbuild all in one. #arttag #digitalart #oc #ocart #creatureart

@e11era.bsky.social you can worldbuild like nobody’s business, I can still see the scene of “Runeterra’s Finest” in my mind (and I think about it often)

I love how you have these concepts of putting Jayce and Viktor in strange and peculiar situations they have to navigate through

@stacyholmes.bsky.social offers you pot of jasmine tea. hello. I've been writing. and I've been writing after being inspired your work, especially how beautifully you worldbuild and create such great flow in your narration. I wanted to just let you know you've inspired one of my next works x

I still have yet to figure out what to do while drinking, and I’m about to open the can….

Maybe I should write more of my story? Or do I worldbuild or something for fun?

sometimes when you worldbuild, i think you should play fester's quest!

- on social media, we CANT. Like I met everyone I still hang with through little gaiaonline rp/art groups where we built our chars we still write, but each of those groups/"shops"(for fake currency) helped you vet out people who want to write/worldbuild in a way similar to you, it was a unique -

Hi, Mobius. ~Samaea!~ - Thanks for the space!

Here's a homebrew article for my ongoing Lashunta Castrovel worldbuild project, building on Paizo's setting. This tree, while not as aggressive as a harpy jasmine, has its own way of biting back...

Oh god so many things. Like random npcs get back stories that will never be relevant. I have a whole spy network worked into one setting where the character literally does nothing with the information but collect it. He just archives it all. The party has met his spies. They'll never know who he is.

the resurrection movie did great at filling up the gaps of the magic aspect of this worldbuild. the og anime and trilogy recap was top at showing political intrigue and moral complexity in this worldbuild. the akito spin off did beautifully at displays of emotion and love in this worldbuild.

Wait, they somehow missed that 'trying to cram two expansions-worth of ideas and themes into one with a barely there link between them' was the problem?

Taking the time to worldbuild isn't the issue, it's like they've forgotten the lessons Stormblood's exact same problems taught them.

in the story there is a worldbuild reason why the elves generally don't worship witches as gods or kings even though they can essentially perform miracles lol

Everyone is allowed to create their own fictional worldbuild however they desire and shouldn't listen to do's and don't from others. Especially not listen to egotistic maniacs that wants to force themselves into everything and ruin everything they touch.

(Woops that broke) So first Mark researched traditional dress that included white. We wanted to subvert the classic western fantasy cultures where possible, so Mark found a variety of references from east Africa, specifically Ethiopia, to take inspiration from. Then he began to worldbuild… (2/3)

Commission some art! Write your fic! Do your gposes! Find an RP partner or partners that would love to worldbuild with you! You don't need the game to give you blatant canon romance!

Adding this to the “how to worldbuild” list alongside my favorite academic article about historical infrastructure: ”Pots, Privies, and the W.C.: Crapping at the Opera in London Before 1830.”

Looks like this started as fiction over in the world building subreddit. Fake newspaper article about the missing man was discussed here:

Let's do another sprint. 30 minutes on the clock!

Your Prompt should you choose to use it: Write about food in your world.

Food can tell your readers a lot about the culture in your book and is a great way to worldbuild subtly. So make me drool!
