around post-hw, wren was nearly gutted + poisoned by an average morbol in the shroud. the scar goes from the bottom of one side of her ribcage to the opposite hip bone. the resulting care sticks out due to realizing sidurgu cared for her #wrenlore

teleporting makes wren aethersick, so she’ll do it but avoids it if she can. (she’s always a bit unwell in msq if going back and forth.) she prefers her mounts (yol, red hare, etc.) for daily travel but really enjoys being on the sea when there’s no rush for longer trips.

6.0 puts an end to most of wren’s unfinished business, at least as the wol and loose strings from other expansions, and the patches see wren give up her role as a frontliner/the chosen hero. she moves very naturally into a mentor role, changes combat jobs, establishes a permanent home, etc #wrenlore

wren and thancred were fwbs pre-arr. while they liked each other, the line was clear.

wren had a bit of an ongoing thing with carvallain and rhoswen prior to arr, and while she’s still hopelessly attracted to them both and very fond of them, her circumstances keep her far from the city where seem intent on staying for their crews, so it would never work afterward. #wrenlore

wren ends up doing most side content in some fashion, but the most important piece for her lore is the dark knight storyline! namely, it’s how she goes from being a scion to the wol (it’s complicated), but it also leads to one of her wolships and her saving a certain npc from heavensward🩶 #wrenlore
