日本におけるマンボ流行のピークは1955～56年だったが、中米系の「聴く音楽」としてはルンバについで広く親しまれたジャンルだった。

日本文化に無いノリだったせいもあり単純なステップにも関わらずダンスとしては定着しなかった。
歴史・伝統・宗教・生活すべて異なる南米の、ダンスとしてのサンバが今以て日本に根付かないのも同じ理由による。

Not a top tier Playstation game, but still some quality Namco fun for sure!
