Fun fact 2.7mm ws2812 cob LED strips now exist and fit perfectly on the edge of standard 3mm (1/8th) acrylic sheet. You're welcome.

One of the things I had to figure out was how to do the on board lighting so I made some lil ws2812 breakout boards with a doodle @zho.bsky.social did.
Ended up using them in a couple spots on the vehicle and I'm sure they're still there.
