gonna toddle off for the time being I reckon, but not before bunging out another coupla critters - a pair of weasel-ish warrior-types this time - Akai Countach the Wolverine, and Brock the Badger; Akai arrived in #Wyrdworld by way of big brother @fenrisgames.com, Brock is of my own brain-burp-ery:
an anthropomorphic wolverine warrior set against a black background, wearing leather-looking trousers and sporting several belts or weapon-straps at his waist and around his body. He bears a samurai-style sword in his right hand, while making a beckoning gesture with his left. He is sculpted from milliput and plasticene over an aluminium armature, and is made at one-sixth scale. An anthropomorphic badger against a background of greenery. He has a large round shield strapped to his left arm, and carries a ball-and-chain weapon in his right. Sculpted at one-sixth scale in plasticene, and then cast in plaster.

* - not actual outcasts strictly speaking as they weren't *born* into the cult-y culture of Tador - being among some of the first of the new 'Created' beings of #Wyrdworld - and being therefore carved from the stone of the Creation Caverns; by dwarves in pink bunny-suits, of course.

an early attempt to render the Creation Caverns of Wyrdworld in cartoon-strip form, possibly from around the year 2000 but likely to be slightly earlier; dwarves in several different colours of furry bunny-suits are busy with their various tasks: in the middle-ground and to the left of the image, two pink-suited individuals are carving new Created characters from the stone wall; just in front of them, a yellow-suited, more elderly-looking dwarf is piloting a trolley of tea and/or coffee cups; at foreground centre, a dwarf clad in a sky-blue bunny suit is checking something on a clipboard; while to the right, sitting on a big green lizard, another fellow in dark blue surveys the scene. In the direct centre of the image, two wooden carts bear a selection of stone-carved creatures - a chimpanzee, some sort of praying-mantis-like insect, a small rodent of some sort, and then a hippo and a rhino. The carts stand ready to be moved through a dark exit-hole. Right at the back of the image, behind the glass window of some sort of office, an overseer or someone of similar higher rank, in what is probably a white bunny-suit (though it's hard to be definite as the hood is down so no 'ears' are visible), sits reading either a newspaper or a sheaf of paperwork, in an orange-walled room with a telly in the corner. a dwarf in a pink bunny-suit affects a relaxed pose at the bottom right of the image here, one arm resting up on his step-stool as he drinks from his tea-mug with the other hand. A pink mitten dangles from the wrist of his active arm. He is standing in front of a monolithic chunk of stone with a few loose rocks at its base. Along with a number of pictograms carved into its surface, the stone bears the following verse: "The dwarves, for reasons yet unknown, may well look quite peculiar; they're uniformed in bunny-suits, but never let that fool yer... - for though they might seem warm and soft, they're quite a sturdy bunch; they'll work right through from dawn 'til dusk without a break for lunch! They're experts in their stony art, there's none to match their talents; they make enough of everything to keep the Uurth in balance." Nearer the base of the stone, close to the sculptor's head, are a series of post-it notes: a green one, decorated with stars and a little love-heart, simply says "Nellie 2p.m." A yellow one next to it appears to be part of a shopping list, declaring, " 'nanas, spam, yoghurt, jam," spread over four lines; and a second yellow note further to the right bears the words "Beard Oil, Chisel Wax, 3-foot ruler, Carpet Tacks," similarly arranged over four descending lines of text.

a quick few more of these, and then time to toddle off - here, the Outcasts* of Tador - Fulto Brim, PeeGee, Magnum Thunderer and Dreg; originated into #Wyrdworld by Ben Moss, Sharon Nicholas, Kev Garvey, and Steve Woodman respectively, while originated into three dimensions by me :)
Fulto Brim, Orangutan Druid - a one-sixth scale sculpture of milliput and plasticene over aluminium armature; Fulto is posed amongst lush greenery, holding a knobbly staff in his right hand and also looking to his right - though to the left side of the picture - as if at someone or something off-screen. He wears a red waistcoat and has a satchel and a wineskin or waterskin slung from his left shoulder. PeeGee the Chimpanzee, an ape with somewhat monk-ish staff-fighting skills; she is emerging from the greenery, facing towards the left, one of her twin staves just about perceptible behind her. Though she is mostly hidden by the vegetation, a muscular arm is visible, and a suggestion of blue cloth is draped across her shoulder. A sculpture at one-sixth scale, milliput and plasticene built over an aluminium armature. Magnum Thunderer, Gorilla warrior, brandishing a massive double-bearded axe in the middle of a jungle scene. He is wearing, for reasons best known to himself, a plain Pickelhaube-type helmet. A one-sixth scale sculpture of milliput and plasticene over an aluminium armature; the axe-head is of plastic construction. Dreg the Mandrill, shaman; squatting pensively among some giant grasses, looking out to the left of the picture, and with his spear clasped in his left hand. At this particular moment in time he is thankfully *not* having to deal with the problems associated with being a were-tree.

...I should also put in some credits where due - these characters are denizens of #Wyrdworld, a universe idea'd into existence by @fenrisgames.com; and as the individuals they are, Hengis is the concept of Mark Greenhalgh, while Mett-Aa is another escapee-of-the-brain from Merrick Durling:

...or, in preference of the proper sort, and as there's apparently a #frogtober thing going on, here's a solid sculpture of one of our mate Merrick's multiple characters from #wyrdworld; his name is unutterable in the human tongue, the nearest equivalent being "Fftt-Shhing" - the supposed sound of >

- realising I haven't really posted any of these bigger figures on here - Hengis here did kinda put in an appearance in my early bsky days, and Mett is up there on me banner, but here's a coupla better views; I'll fill out another thread on the rest of 'em here too at some point, I guess:
Hengis the (hench) Hamster, an anthropomorphic hamster-character wielding a big old pulse-rifle kinda gun as he trudges through some long-grass jungle-scenery. A 1/6th-scale model, sculpted from milliput built over armature and plasticene, his gun built from wood and plastics. Mett-Aa the Fox, an anthropomorphised character from Wyrdworld, a universe invented by Fenris Games. Mett-Aa is accompanied here by several living puppets of his own creation - Pinch and Punch, Corvus the Crow, and Tidd-ler the snake, whose tail is just visible rapped under Mett-Aa's foot. Mett is dressed in a sort of jester's motley of alternating red and black half-parts, and he carries a living bag-holdall with a goblin-like face, called simply 'Bagsy'. Mett-Aa is a 1/6th-scale sculpture, cast in plaster from a sculpt originally made in plasticene.

The adventures of Cruk Firepaw were going great, but the warband got decimated in the last battle! I bought some fantastic miniatures from Fenris Games, in particular Wyrdworld and the Cauldron Warband, which have helped give a different look. 2/3

it's very Wyrdworld adjacent - our own anthropomorphic setting that I've been writing stuff for since the late 80s - and although I have the Gwelf books I try to avoid studying them/Mouseguard/Redwall etc as even though all of them are later arrivals than WW we always get accused of plagiarism 🙄
