Lots of unpacking & laundry & resetting today, plus errands & cooking. Also time for kitty-scritches and finishing good books by talented friends.

A book cover featuring the lower body of a person holding a cane with a _mostly_ cat-shaped black creature winding around their ankles. The animal has six yellow eyes in a pyramid shape on its head, and at least three tentacle-arms from its rear area in addition to its tail. Text reads "Slayers of Old by Jim C Hines" with a small note stating "Retire. Save the World. _Again._"
