I'm a long time target shooter and wanted a perfect spl ops grade combat pistol. Started with a SIG RXP XCompact 9mm; added a match barrel, comp, DPM spring, and light / laser. Crazy accurate and can use a suppressor. As rugged as a Glock, but far nicer to shoot. It's like a sports car US M18.

その後Jelly2→Jelly Star→Jelly MaxとUnihertzに落ち着いた。

Fully cleaned my SIG Sauer P320 RXP XCompact 9mm. Added a HC320 comp, tuned DPM spring, & light / laser. It's a German sports car next to a Glock 19. A tad bigger than a P365, but much nicer shooting and close to competition level.

I finally tried this SIG P229 airgun out. It feels exactly like my SIG P320 XCompact 9mm, but with less recoil. Pretty accurate, but I'll see which pellets work best and let it break in. If you want a blowback airgun and like a red dot option, I think it's worth it.

Ordered a SIG P229 airgun. It's the small version of the P226. It really has a threaded barrel and a mount for a red dot. It's all metal with a blowback slide. I saw a vid that measured the FPE at 2.7 with a 8.44 gr pellet, which is not bad. It's the closest thing to my P320 XCompact 9mm.

Ironically the articles all use the XCompact as a photo, which never had the one real fault! So much for truth in advertising. lol

Still there are people reporting on the SIG P320 unintentional or drop firing issue. The drop fire was only with early curved trigger models and resolved years ago and the other is undoubtedly caused by poor gun handling. I have a P320 XCompact and know the mechanism in detail. It’s 100% safe.

The P320 has internal safeties and most have no external safeties. You have to be careful to never touch or snag the trigger, because it will fire if pulled. IMO all these discharges are caused by negligence. Ironic some use a pic of an XCompact, a model not involved in these issues.

The old unintended discharge stories are still circulating in regards to the SIG Sauer P320. I thoroughly investigated this and studied the operation before buying one aand inspected the pistol I bought, which is a 2023 XCompact. See my reply for more. #P320unintendeddischarge

My defense weapon is a SIG Sauer P320 RXP XCompact 9mm modified with a 4.3 inch True Precision threaded barrel, a Harrington HC320 compensator, and an Olight Baldr Mini light / laser. Much nicer shooting than a Glock.
