When humans are gone, the history books left behind will describe the XF20 [1995-2000 Lexus LS400] & W124 [the mid '80s to mid '90s Mercedes E-Class] as the two best sedans ever made.

The XF20 was notable for taking something already so good & perfecting it.

They were excellent. I almost bought one once [Laredo I6, went with the Maxima instead - weird right?]. That said, I feel the Gen2 [WJ] was the perfect Grand Cherokee. It took the OG and refined it without deviating from the formula.

Today's camera of choice, a Fujifilm X100 F with the XF20 flash. I don't use this thing nearly as much as it deserves.

For flat colors, Tamiya Enamel XF18 Medium Blue (to accent the odd small panel, compliments the NAZCA mech colors great), XF20 Medium Gray (a nice warm color for cables), and X-7 Red (for the odd red cable etc).

Agree. XF20 is the pinnacle LS. However, on this specific one, the chromies suck¹ and this one lacks the Nakamichi. The Nakamichi is a critical part of the experience on these and thus mandatory.
