The #Arctic is getting wetter during the month of May across many regions of the Arctic Ocean. The largest trends are closer to areas of greater sea-ice loss toward the Atlantic Ocean.

Many areas around coastal regions of the #Arctic Ocean are getting wetter in November. The largest trends are found in the Barents-Kara Seas region, which correlates with warmer SSTs and less sea ice.

March has observed a notable trend toward greater precipitation in the subpolar North Atlantic over the last few decades, especially around the Barents Sea where there has been a loss of sea ice.
