I don’t think we’re eliminating the filibuster or amending the constitution soon, so culpable, horrible people are still gonna be necessary to federal progress. It sucks, but here we are. The US has so many clean energy advantages…but only if we can build xmission. 2/2

IMO: We need xmission for “clean is cheap, & cheap is clean”. And ☀️, 🔋, 🌬️, & transmission can shrink O&G to a pittance.
We won’t get another shot till 2030+.

I did see one comment today that the addl admin capacity that’s needed to make faster timelines work is under funded. If that’s true, that’s a big problem. But we can’t reduce asthma rates or keep electricity affordable w/o the xmission & clean gen this bill promises. We’ll know more in a few days.

We've been made aware of an issue on our upstream provider for XMission customers in Bozeman, Montana. While the cause is investigated, we have redirected traffic to our backup routes, which may cause higher latency. We hope to have this issue resolved with our upstream transport soon.

It's the only time I've had an issue, but the whole company cares about their tech and it shows in buckets. Their proactive status updates on outages from the local Fiber provider are awesome and on the whole I can't imagine a company doing more for their users than XMission. High recommend from me.

I once uncovered a BGP issue between XMission and Akamai. The front line agent when I called in (on a weekend and at night no less) knew what I was talking about, was able to confirm the issue, and had a fix pushed within minutes. That's worth paying for in my book.

I've had XMission going back to Dial-Up. I pay a small fraction more than I might with other providers around here, but it's SOOOOOO worth it for being able to speak to a knowledgeable/empowered person who understands the tech if there's an issue, instead of a call center drone with no clue/power.

XMission has been alerted to a UTOPIA outage affecting customers in Centerville on Footprint CV004. UTOPIA techs are investigating the issue and will restore services as soon as possible.
