I thought the Crosstrek take rate was closer to 3%? Still, 6% probably actually isn’t worth the R&D and I believe some of the xmode stuff requires an automatic

love my 2016 forester! after volvo wagons, needed a car with good visibility& less rounded, curvy sides. exceeded expectations & when we replaced husband's car, he got one.once or2x a year, son drives it to the mountains and uses Xmode so it gets to feel like a real subie in the outdoors & snow.

We've had the '24 Forester for a little over a year, and that snow Xmode has come in handy the past week. Especially on this realllly steep hill on my commute.
