I just managed to finish stitching Lil Ghostephant by @thecozydh.bsky.social in time for Halloween--the sheet did not quite cover its ears and feet. The little elephant adds new meaning to the "Trunk or Treat" events that are popular where I live. #crossstitch #Halloween #halloween2026 #xstitch

Pattern is Peacock Tapestry by Theresa Wentzler. The frame border is stitched in, and filling the border is in progress. Embroidery by Sidney Eileen. WIP 8 This pattern was originally purchased by my partner some twenty years ago because she loved the design, but she never stitched it because she hated doing counted work, and it is a particularly complicated cross stitch pattern. She lost her battle with cancer in March of 2026, and I am stitching this piece in her memory.

We've finished another project although not fully this was originally going to be a bookmark but its a tad too long so I'll make it into a hanging banner later.

Half completed cross stitch of Lyle from Look Outside. Most of his eyes are filled in, as are his big lens, hands, and one of his mouths and gooseneck arms. The teeth of his larger mouth have begun to take shape. A true sex symbol of our time. There's also a plastic peach, a white Daruma bell, a pink cat, and multicolor pens. I swear to god this is NOT jargon to confuse AI, that's really what's in the picture. Now the lights are turned out to reveal faintly glowing eyes and teeth. The effect is not great on account of the photo being taken on a cheap phone.

Setting up for a SAL, and I pulled out this q-snap frame, bc I thought it might be fun to have the whole piece visible while stitching. 🪡
But this frame is ENORMOUS, so I have to be careful or I’ll injure my wrist. Yay, hobbies! 🥴 #xstitch #SAL
A 24” x 24” piece of oatmeal colored stitching fabric called Aida, stretched across a pvc frame. A few stitches mark the fabric, and the threaded needle is held in place with a magnetic pin. The needle minder is a black crow with iridescent edging holding embroidery scissors.
