it's such a shame... i would've loved for everyone to experience it as close to the og format as possible because yakkuk is quite exceptional in the current kr bl ecosystem: doing almost everything by hand, sticking to pagination and the irregular releases that allow for it...

the way yakkuk tell stories is always so interesting to me. i love how she loves to play with manipulation and desire, how sensitive she is describing how deeply rooted the characters' loneliness is. it's just always a pleasure to read

i'm enchanted by how clearly yakkuk님 creates their conflict. when the pair quarrel, it's because they each want what they care for to be acknowledged. in their quarrel, hanrim gives value to the love he has for yesol, whilst yesol gives value to hanrim as a lover/bearer of love.

yakkuk님's music taste is so quintessential of our generation, it's astounding. she so clearly moved through the same internet spaces and media 📽🎞📕💻📖🎧💿 in the late 2010s - present. it's compelling. and i do have to highlight 적반허슬 playlist series' covers: so eyecandy.
