The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has foreseen inflation to facilitate 4.2 percent in the next financial exercise, supported by favorable conditions such as a good production of crops and ease in vegetables prices. For the current financial year that ends, the Central Bank has provided the IPC inflation at 4.8 percent taking a normal monsoon. The MPC led by Sanjay Malhotra foreseen 4.5 percent inflation in the first quarter of the 2025-26 financial year, 4 % in the second quarter; 3.8 percent in Q3; and 4.2 percent in the Q4.
