CAROLINE ROSE w/ ‘Year of the Slug’. (2025) Man, I dig me some ‘Uncle Carol’! Her 2018 ‘Loner’ LP sucked me right in. This set is comprised of demos & random ideas not committed to other albums. Signed 1st press, ltd to 300. SA-WEET bunch of tunes! #carolinerose #indierock #DIYrock #yearoftheslug

If someone is dumb enough to remake the movie Garden State I hope they are smart enough to make Carolina Rose’s ‘Year of the Slug’ a main part of the score/soundtrack. Year of the Slug is that good.

I've been playing this new #CarolineRose album #YearoftheSlug on repeat since she put it up on her site. Absolutely gorgeous.

I felt a similar urge to create when my copy of “Year of the Slug” arrived last week. There was no insert, so I made one. It felt good to copy and print and tear and glue paper so I could have a physical version of the lyrics available on the album’s Bandcamp page.

Uncle C is not on here and I so rarely touch insta, I somehow went a month without knowing about this and missed out on a signed copy. I remember first hearing Miami on autoplay whilst working. “What is this and why am I suddenly crying !?“ #yearoftheslug
