2 oz Yebiga Prva (aged Serbian plum brandy)
3/4 lemon
1/2 Maraska maraschino
Heaping tsp sour cherry preserves
1d Peychaud’s Bitters
3 cherries on a pick
Hard shake & strain.
REALLY good! (1/2)

Diplomatija za zajebana, seti se koliko su Hitleru ljubili dupe, pa i kraljevska porodica koja nema stvarnu moć. Rade to što rade u skladu sa ustavom i niko ih ništa ne pita. Komunistički i postkoministički diktatori, takvu moć monarsi nisu imali vekovima unazad.

Diplomatija za zajebana, seti se koliko su Hitleru ljubili dupe, pa i kraljevska porodica koja nema stvarnu moć. Rade to što rade u skladu sa ustavom i niko ih ništa ne pita. Komunistički i postkoministički diktatori, takvu moć monarsi nisu imali vekovima unazad.

Yes, I know it’s a Czech spirit and I’m cheersing in Serbian but this stuff mixes SO VERY WELL and it’s delicious and it’s priced nicely. Next time I’ll make it with Yebiga rakija od šljiva.

Sranje je. Meni je i posle dve godine teško, deci je bilo čudno da tih ljudi više “nema”, a poznaju ih od detinjstva. Desetine N. godina, letovanja, zimovanja i onda tonu u nacionalnu histeriju i kreću k meni strelice tipa nisam srbin pravoslavac nego “etičar”, masoni su satanisti i slično 😕 yebiga

P.S. — Alrhough certain Serbian friends may scowl, I would put this spirit next to a standard solid šljivovica from Serbia. Given how relatively be difficult the latter is to obtain in the US, I’m good with this. That said, find Yebiga rakija od šljive near you if you can!

P.S. — Alrhough certain Serbian friends may scowl, I would put this spirit next to a standard solid šljivovica from Serbia. Given how relatively be difficult the latter is to obtain in the US, I’m good with this. That said, find Yebiga rakija od šljive near you if you can!

Yebiga is one of my faves. Billy from Faith No More founded that brand after discovering Rakija while touring the Balkins. I havent seen it here but usually can find it while in NYC. I will keep my eye out for Slivovice, its a easy bottle to spot.

A day at work when a box of Serbian rakija od šljive (plum brandy) is delivered for me and then turns into a rakija tasting with my boss and coworkers is a good day at work.

This one is difficult to describe. Like a smokey dark chocolate. While I I'm detecting some sort of very faint taste of lemon, it feels like it's hidden by more floral flavors. It makes me think of a cream candy, but... Is that what I taste? How mysterious, but fun.
