My secret reveal is that Tav's main class is actually Fighter 🤛 but her magic is (💃dance) Bardic!

It's pretty obvious in #YSSfanfic 'cause she rarely uses her violin in fights...But In game I am fighting my lil heart out and casting SO many buffs!!

doodle reference for a future character from Tav's past. He's not a Bard, but he's KILLER with a decent lutist, and has a soothing talking voice.

Him and Tav do talk shop on sparring techniques, but mostly he was a big help faith-wise. 🙏

The gang finds 🧙‍♂️Elminster lurking in the mines, 🐻Halsin leads the charge into the Shadow Curse, 🐈‍⬛Jaheira puts Tav to task with the vines, and Tav realizes a future choice waits her 💔

A screenshot of Chapter 17's summary of Yearning's Sweet Succor. It reads: Tav had long forgotten that she was in the midst of eating while holding Halsin's stare, watching as he raised a hand to brush the loosened strands of her ponytail back behind her ear before pulling away. "Forgive me," he smiled, voice low and tender. "Sometimes I forget myself, gazing on the beauty of nature's creations." Elminster greats the group, waving Dancing Lights around to illuminate himself. Halsin, Lassandra and Tav look on at Harper Yanis - now taken by the Shadow Curse. Jaheira curls her fingers in natural magic, trapping Tav in vines.

A screenshot of Chapter 16's summary of Yearning's Sweet Succor. It reads: “I will take first watch,” [Lae'zel] announces. “Whoever decides to stand guard with me, I advise you prepare yourself for battle. The night will not go by without conflict, I can guarantee that.” A haggard Tav is offered a short sword to run the Dream Guardian through. Shadowheart sneers at a bit of Noblestalk while Karlach encourages her. Tav stands between a kneeling Voss and Lae'zel's sword. She is livid.

A screenshot of Chapter 4's summary of Yearning's Sweet Succor. It reads: “I’m just so shocked, honestly. I’m completely changing my perception on the whole situation! Y'know, I was led to believe all druids tend to follow their desires as hard as any doctrine of Nature’s Order- or whatever it’s called. And yet you just…sit here.” Astarion gestures flippantly, eating up the uncomfortable demeanor of the large man. “It’s all terribly fascinating.” “One might be majorly offended by your words just now,” Halsin warns. “That being said. Some desires overrule what the baser instincts want.” “Truly. That must be why she lets me into her tent every other night. To fulfill those baser instincts- because you won’t.” The notes also say: Thank you to my beta Crstal who not only read me this chapter with funny voices but also suggested I make my (now) most popular piece of bg3 fanart (shared in the notes below). You are the Astarion meme whisperer, truly!! Kisses you, kisses you. Content Warnings: Animal Death, Blood Halsin, covered in blood, appears to subtly threaten Astarion who looks a bit shocked. Lae'zel gazes into the green hole they lost their companions to, wondering if everyone is mad for just hopping into it without a scout party first. Tav and Gale share a comforting embrace after confessing about how he ended up with the Orb.

A screenshot of Chapter 15's summary of Yearning's Sweet Succor. It reads: Lae’zel’s life was being laid bare among those that came before. Her thoughts were being turned into silver thread and relayed to the Astral Sea, her home. The voices of the dead cried out from the memories already long recorded as a wave of one cacophonous voice. The zaith’isk’s true purpose was to collect memories from the infected and execute them. It was not for curing. It was for killing. Halsin embraces Tav inside his tent. Noon leans into Tav's throat. She gives chaste kissies to the skin before licking her throat once and pulling back. She looks pleased, licking her lips at Tav, declaring it was just "Wolf Stuff". Karlach dozes happily while the scouting party of Tav, Lae'zel and Wyll get ready to leave.

It reads: Finally leaving the Underdark, the party continues to track Lae'zel's kin while unaware that Tav's kin tracks them in return. Noon wakes under the moon, staring at nothing as she broods. Nick lays beside her, blissfully passed out for once. Halsin holds Tav in his lap as they comfortably talk after a good smoke. Tav reaches out to catch Shiver - a sea hawk familiar belonging to Nick. He brings news of the Twins tracking her down.
