The shift to AO3 has been very helpful with tags and autocomplete. It used to be ctrl + f.
And I think most people only look for maybe a dozen small fandoms they have.
You can go to the parent Yuletide collection and filter all works there, especially if your fandom(s) is a Yuletide regular.
