blue art? yeah i might have something 💙
digital illustration of Stede Bonnet as we see him at the end of OFMD s1 ep 10, where he's looking out to sea as he drags a boat behind him. the background is a field of stars and nebulae, with a stylized glowing sea before him. behind his head is a large fireball or meteor-esque object trailing across the sky. the words Long May You Roam are in the upper left corner. digital illustration by xray_vex for the You Wrote Me A Lovely Postcard project #YWMLP #ofmd #ourflagmeansdeath

You are doing fandom wrong, then. My fandom just used art to raise almost $28,000 to support immigrant children. #OFMD #ywmlp

MerStede swimming towards the surface of the ocean like the classic 1989 Little Mermaid poster. His tail is orange and shiny and he's holding his trident.

Stede as Elizabeth Bennet and Ed as Mr. Darcy in the fields at dawn, with their foreheads touching. Inspired by the 2005 Pride and Prejudice scene.

Being bad at keeping secrets while having the Gentlebeard calendar art and two YWMLP postcards kinda feels like this.
I'm in agonyyyyy 😩
Lucius inside a chest because he's so bad at keeping secrets that Jim had no other option. Can't blame Jim, honestly.

And, of course, thank you to @ofmd-postcards.bsky.social!
I realize I didn’t strictly stick to “home” as a backdrop, but libraries (and books) have always been a second home to me. 📚
ClaireG shows us Ed and Stede living in “the good ol’ days.” With @catvaliere.bsky.social’s help, Ed and Stede recreate scenes from their favorite poems about love. Diana S. shows us that, just like the artists of ancient mosaics, Ed and Stede know it takes time to build a relationship. @sopiedofie.bsky.social has Stede showing Ed that he is lovable.

Ed and Stede by Achmonomer (They are going to meet up with Maomao later.) The Revenge crew by @owltrousers.bsky.social have changed their minds about sewing being women’s work. They are looking forward to the challenge! Stede was inspired by all these books, and asked sonorawent to commemorate the moment he met Ed. 💞 Hopefully a few people will be going home with a copy of The Great Gatsby. (They would if I left my postcard of Ed and Stede by @heyitsalliemack.bsky.social!)

Stepping out of Heathrow i was overcome with the soul deep realization that this was what I had been searching for.

Home.

I spent two weeks wandering the city on the underground & by foot & the next year I returned for a month & still didn’t see it all. But the feeling is still the same.
