If I'm going out, eggs bene, especially Zaftigs' version that substitutes smoked salmon and latkes for the ham and english muffin.
At home, a toasted bagel with cream cheese, chipotle cholula, and some blue cheese crumbled on top.

Thank you!!! I’ve Doordashed from NY Bagel Factory, Kupel’s, and Zaftigs. NY Bagel Factory was great, the others were good too. Just not great.

2. Zaftigs... hard pass for me. Everything but the deli sandwiches is weirdly sweet, especially the stuffed cabbage. If you do want a deli sandwich, you're much better off heading to Michael's Deli. (admittedly a very different vibe... counter service deli instead of sit down restaurant).
