I'm so serious when I say Simon is vindictive and petty. Holds grudges. Doesn't forget a slight. When he DOES dole out praise, it is generic and concise.
The few who see him softer, less guarded - they have to learn to adjust to him. There is just too much trauma.

Recently thinking about Simon as cold, ruthless, and vengeful in his professional AND personal life. So hard to love yet secretly yearning for it. Bottoming in sex being the one way he's found that's socially acceptable for him to be soft and vulnerable.
