Best $5 game I’ve played. Gorgeous well aging graphics and all. The story was fun although most of the mythology ties I don’t know. I enjoyed the 3d zeldaesque gameplay I’ve been waiting something to scratch that itch for a long time

Oui, bien plus dense niveau narratif.
Le puzzles sont bons, mais on est plus sur du donjon zeldaesque lite que sur ́le feeling plus Tomb Raider du premier.
Le 2 a de plus beaucoup de longs couloirs, ce qui fait que pour moi l'exploration est moins satisfaisante.

Disons que je n'ai pas retrouvé le côté Zeldaesque de base. C'était un jeu d'aventure ok, mais pas assez de donjons à mon goût, trop ''d'exploration '' : pas assez d'ennemis dans les zones externes ( je le trouvais vide), trop immense.

Disons que je n'ai pas retrouvé le côté Zeldaesque de base. C'était un jeu d'aventure ok, mais pas assez de donjons à mon goût, trop ''d'exploration '' : pas assez d'ennemis dans les zones externes ( je le trouvais vide), trop immense.
Addendum: I am also moving more and more away of typical Zeldaesque dungeon design, which was great for Unexplored 1 and 2, but which simply does not fly as well for multiplayer, turn-based games. I should write about that as well, one of these days.

Theres a shit-zillion PC/NES RPGs & Zeldaesque large-map non-linear adventure games that have stuff like caves hidden behind random wall tiles, which in turn have another cave hidden inside them, & then a special item hidden in a chest behind an obtuse puzzle whose solution is in a DIFFERENT cave.

If you're not already playing Dungeons of Hinterberg you should at least take a look at it. It basically has Zeldaesque puzzles, Kingdom Hearts ish fights with Persona social development. It has a cozy feel that doesn't feel artificial. I'm really enjoying it probably my game of the year
