Daughter saw 40k gameplay and miniatures at the local LGS and decided she wanted to pickout and make her own. Rainbow Necrons will rise to defend their Tombworlds Ice cream vaults.

Didn't have a great morning today but managed to get out and do a little painting this afternoon. Nothing too detailed, just lots of airbrushed layers.

Now, *the plan* is to paint the wings with Turbo Dork "Romeo + Juliet Zenishift Paint" followed maybe by a thin coat of Cloud Nine colourshift paint to increase the effect. The hair will be "Hemogoblin Zenishift" so in theory it'll be bright orange with dark green in the shadows. But we shall see..

The one I was using (Bubblegum Crisis) is a zenishift, but the effect I wanted was the one that required a white undercoat. On marine trim. With the rest of the armour being black. Would not recommend :p

It depends on the paint. Most like Crystal Cavern go over black (had to check the webstore),a couple like Mother Lode go over white, and the ones labeled Zenishift can go over either for different effects (or applied over a zenithal for a really cool combined effect hence the name).

Painting this was easier than I thought it’d be.
