My OCs #Zhaikes & #Lara.

My OCs, Zhaikes and Lara, an alien man and a human woman. Lara leans in and places a hesitant kiss on Zhaikes' lips. Zhaikes has his eyes closed and antennae spread in all directions. Despite his sharp features, he shows a soft, overwhelmed expression.

Breathing is overrated.
My OCs #Lara and #Zhaikes hugging. Okay, Lara does the hug, Zhaikes is.. processing the situation.

Digital sketch of my OCs, Lara and Zhaikes hugging. Lara, the smaller human, is positioned higher than the much larger alien man. She cuddles his head firmly to her chest. Zhaikes looks overwhelmed and doesn't hug her back. However, he seems to enjoy the situation. The sketch is WIP, the lines are messy and some of Zhaikes' extra limbs are still missing. Okay, it's not... awful. It's fine. It's actually fine. I colored something and have no need to uninstall.

I... okay.

#art #Zhaikes #Lara #ZhorKhat #OCsky
Digital art of my OCs Zhaikes and Lara, in color! Zhaikes has greenish tones, from skin to bio-armor. Lara has light skin with red hair and an olive green top. Her eyes are green too. They stand next to each other, while Zhaikes has one of his wing-lile limbs bent over Lara. He looks grumpy and says "What are you looking at...?". Lara seems friendly saying "Hi".

Another Halloween-worthy artwork 🤍

I like the contrast between terrifying and tender, fierce and loving. These are Zhaikes and Lara, the main characters of my alien world.

Digital art of Lara, a human woman, hugging Zhaikes, an alien man. Lara stands over Zhaikes and has her arms around his neck, while pressing his head to her chest. Zhaikes seems to be indecisive, his hand hovering next to Lara with his fingers being curled. While he likes the experience, he is unsure if he may reciprocate the hug. One tiny detail to notice: On the inside of Zhaikes' wrist is a small symbol that looks just like my artist logo. Art by Kathaja Krim.

Three digital sketches of my OC Zhaikes (species: Zhor Khat). Zhaikes is an alien with a humanoid body and four large extra limbs sprouting from his back. The extra limbs look like pointy crab legs arranged like bony wings. The sketches show them in different positions along with the body's poses. Additionally, Zhaikes has smaller, more delicate antennae on his head, that also move with his expressions. His left lower arm and hand are substituted by a prosthesis. On his chest are three alien symbols. Art by Kathaja Krim.

Reference sheet for my OC, #Zhaikes Nazkarath, and his complicated head structure 🤍

[ #art #Fremdling #ZhorKhat #CharacterDesign #alien ]
Digital reference sheet of an alien character, Zhaikes Nazkarath (species: Zhor Khat), showing Zhaikes' head and shoulders in three angles: front, side and 3/4 view. Zhaikes is a buff alien man with a flat reptilian nose, pointed ears and several horns swooping along his head. He has four antennae, scales along his spine and two draconian tips on his chin. Text on page: Antennae: His 4 antennae, called Raks‘van, are located at his temples and neck. They consist of 3 main elements and 1 additional short element at the base. The first and second elements are usually held in an angled position, but can also be fully extended. Last element is segmented and may curl slightly. Symbols: The 3 symbols on his chest resemble tattoos. They mean guidance, strength, and protection. Scars: The right side of his face, his left shoulder, and his upper arm are covered in scars. Expressions: Most of Zhaikes‘ facial expressions are stern, confident, haughty or angry. When he smiles, it is often a mixture of smugness, challenge, and humor.

OC sketches ~~

The characters with the speech bubbles are #Zhaikes and his brother #Rhaski.

Their conversation is related to my novel. Rhaski noticed that Zhaikes' behavior around the human is suspicious to say the least, and he indulges in teasing him about it :')

Digital sketches. A human with long hair (Lara), an angry alien character (Zhaikes) and two alien characters talking with each other (Zhaikes and Rhaski). Rhaski notices: 'A little tense, aren't we?' and Zhaikes answers with: 'Shut it.'

Painful emotions should not exist. Alas, they do.

This sketch of Zhaikes is inspired by a scene in my book. I have another one that shows Lara, who is equally devastated. What have they done..
