Update, after further consideration, HW > Dark Dragon > FW for sword power levels. RD is close behind but it is less that swords are bonkers there and more that zihark and ike and to a lesser degree mia are bonkers there.

My Rolf was lv 1 too and managed. I played on normal but Shinon is rlly easy to corner if you wait Reyson to transform.
Also same person Zihark died in the same chapter they recruited him bc of reinforcement. Me too bud. Black Knight caught me off guard.
