Definitely a Lycosid - maybe an immature Zoicinae? Like Clubiona and Tetragnatha, this is a group where I rarely find adults, and even when I do they’re heavily outnumbered by immatures

First record of the genus Piratula Roewer, 1960 from India, with the description of a new species (Araneae: Lycosidae: Zoicinae) Roewer (1955) erected the lycosid genus Piratula Roewer, 1960, with Piratula hygrophila (Thorell, 1872) as its type species. Dondale & Redner (1981) synonymised the genus with Pirata Sundevall, 1833. Ooh, I never heard of Zoicinae. Thanks. A quick google suggests it includes Pirata and the like - I wasn't very specific with my tubes so I can't say if this was from a wet area. Maybe. As usual, most of the spiders I've taken are immature - always disappointing.
