I wrote about Wild Blue Skies, the passing of time, chasing the feelings we had when we were young, and imitation as the sincerest form of battery for @ign.com. It's not enough to recreate the things we love; you have to search for new horizons. And Wild Blue Skies rarely does. Proud of this one.

Fellas your dreams absolutely become true if you find the exact correct package on Linux. I will hold this operating system family in high regard until the next time it inconveniences me in any way shape or form.

Switched over to cachyOS, but still just having a lot of trouble running CSP through wine, one of the big reasons I felt comfortable setting up Linux. Tried Krita out to see if it would be so bad to switch; don't like their tools UI and giving up CSP Vector Layers is a lot.

This is a honey pot, they will use this to train AI. The only way to get AI free social media is to let it collapse under itself; any social media that advertises cleaning up AI or disallowing AI content just wants better data to train AI. Don't fall for it.
LinkedIn added an "AI slop" button. The U-Turn is happening, expect to see a lot more of this from other tech companies.

Having generalist tech knowledge is weird, because you think you know how something could be done then you try it in a program and it's either the most convoluted process because of workflow choices or requires tryhard power user shit, and you hate both because you know it should be simple

Stuff like this would be the reason other programming languages make fun of us, if it wasn't so esoteric compared to more readily available stuff like `1+'1'` being `'11'` and `0==[]`.
I'm not a big Javascript class user, but the fact that you lose super, getter/setter, and private variables on structured cloning seems bad? Like who cares for indexDB, don't store objects, but for Worker postMessage you just give a broken ass object that can cause a runtime error???

Trying to understand Javascript Agents (fuck off AI losers) and Realms, and coming across new spec for ShadowRealms. Again, cool names for new stuff, incredibly hard to make sense of it all. It's basically a new Realm but somehow better? Why is making a Realm sucky performance in the first place?

Trying to understand Javascript Agents (fuck off AI losers) and Realms, and coming across new spec for ShadowRealms. Again, cool names for new stuff, incredibly hard to make sense of it all. It's basically a new Realm but somehow better? Why is making a Realm sucky performance in the first place?
I've rewritten my little doc on Javascript Execution Contexts like 5 times, I keep finding stuff I missed or that's relatively new like Module Execution Contexts and the Private Environment Record. Stuff gets a bit confusing when you look under the hood
