The solution to the Musk problem is very simple as far as I’m concerned.

We had 5 heatwaves this summer but don’t linger the actual catastrophic problem of climate change, BBC. Tell me instead about how some histrionic nerds think an old sci-fi cliche is going to become real despite there being absolutely no evidence for this whatsoever.
I cannot tell you what absolute fiction this is. AI is heading for a crash and this cackhanded Terminator narrative is being engineered to save them. The fact that the unsubstantiated testimony of a former employee has been the top story on BBC News all day is absurd and irresponsible.

I’m watching the Heidecker murder trial again. One of the funniest things about it is Tim had a good lawyer and might very well have been acquitted if he wasn’t a megalomaniac who insisted on defending himself lol.

If your political party can't beat a guy whose brain barely functions to the point, he shits himself on live tv and frequently forgets where he is, without sacrificing vulnerable minorities,

What do you think that says about your party??

It develops between 3 - 9 weeks of age, and is responsible for the greatest wikipedia gif of all time.

I grew up in Portsmouth and spent a lot of time in my childhood out in Galloway, where the RNLI was always this very present institution, and yeah braver than the troops deserving of a lot more than they get

I wouldn’t ordinarily promote an organisation with “royal” in its name but the RNLI are a great bunch of lxds and you should chuck them a few quid if you can. Especially in light of recent protests on England’s southern coast, and abuse directed at RNLI volunteers.

It is funny how much of the current world trashfire is because people with power went online and showed everyone their entire arses and didn't like the reaction.

Anyway it is still funny to me how Bluesky ended up with the exact opposite userbase than the one they wanted.

Bit of a tangent but I remember when Helen Lewis went on BBC Radio (presumably Radio 4 but idk) and complained about quote tweets. She wanted to make it so people couldn’t dunk on her anymore.
Bluesky rolled out rules against dog-piling but I think we all understood that they meant dogpiling *by* trans people; dogpiling *on* trans people is still allowed and even encouraged.

Imagine you go into work, and in your offices, for MONTHS ON END, there's some guy that just hangs around near the photocopier because he lives in your work.

This is what it must have been for those poor staff.

All of these claims are true and non-defamatory tho.
I hadn't thought of that in years and I was worried I was exaggerating but lmao yes it does have things like that in it.
