Does anyone else feel like we're in a inevitable crumbling of society where declining living standards, ever increasing crises, and decaying institutions converge? Even worse, the stupidity of the current political system right now makes it all feel so hopeless for at least the next decade.

Dolly proudly, to the end of her days, described her style as "trashy" and that's just one reason i will love her forever
I appreciate that Dolly Parton refused to participate in "dress respectability" and, by her own account, modeled her aesthetic after a town "tramp," who she thought was beautiful. She separated aesthetics from character and understood "classiness" to be about how you treat people, not how you dress.
