Lucy joined a @@savebutterflies.bsky.social event last week, learning how two Argyll farms manage grassland for the Marsh Fritillary. Light cattle grazing, uneven tussocky ground and scabious-rich meadows are proving a winning mix for this rare butterfly 🦋

Last month Heather joined volunteers at Torridon NNR to remove invasive western red cedar. After lunch together, we gathered natural materials on a walk round the village and spent the afternoon with Sophie from Our Rainforest Futures making cyanotype and relief prints 🌿

Our Peatland Action team spent three days on Jura last week, walking the site to finalise our restoration plans. A break in the weather let us fly the drone over gully and micro erosion areas we're aiming to restore. 🌿
