Nobody switches their vote R->D because a Dem dipped their toe in the cesspool of transphobia. But it can contribute towards sporadic lean-D voters not bothering to vote, and no amount of lecturing will prevent that.
Abdul El-Sayed, Dem Senate Candidate in Michigan, is running towards them.
When asked, he fully and unequivocally support trans youth care as a matter between parents, patients, and doctors.
