This little gem arrived in the mail last week. Thank you to @valkyriefilmfest.bsky.social for your support and acknowledgement of all of our hard work. Can't wait to get the TV series in front of the folks who can make it happen. 🌷🌷🌷

This iconic 1971 photo of Gloria Steinem and Dorothy Pitman Hughes has always said so much without saying a word.
Two women. Two raised fists. One shared fight for equality.
Dorothy passed in 2022. Now Gloria is gone too.
Two giants who helped change America.
Rest in power, Gloria. ✊🏼✊🏾

Thrilled to be included in the 2026 Brushstrokes Poetry Anthology this November. I've also been longlisted for the Ros Spencer Poetry Prize. If you're in Perth, why not pop along to the Perth Poetry Festival? My poem will be read at the awards ceremony by a fellow poetess 💚

As I reflect on my writing & directing career so far, it occurs to me that I have been helped by so many people who will never receive credit for the role they played in my ability to make art, no matter how long they let me sleep on their couch. So I just want to say, thank you, Sal Saperstein.

I wish Google maps had useful information, like "where is my nearest wild lavender bush?" for when I need to dry some cuttings to make tea. 🌿🪻
