I think this conception of what a war would look like is wrong. It's much more likely that a Russian attack would look like Ukraine's Kursk offensive: grab some land and let NATO suffer to take it back.
"Any open incursion by the Russian military in the Baltic region would face immediate opposition. The Kremlin would need to muster a force large enough to overcome the Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian armed forces, who would not wait for a united NATO response before fighting back."

I lost count of the media interviews over the weekend where I asked them to please stop calling Russia’s performance an “election”, and stop defaulting to the language they use when describing a democratic event in a country where people have the option of changing their government if they want to.

I'm not sure what Russian officials think they get out of claiming astronomical numbers of repelled drones. It mostly just signals that they have failed to stop Ukrainian drone production.

Interessant perspektiv på PISA-debatten. Kan det være at børnene ikke er dårligere fagligt, men simpelthen ikke gider at lave testen? Eller slår den samme indstilling også igennem i undervisningstimerne, så lærerne hver dag skal kæmpe med umotiverede børn?

Interessant perspektiv på PISA-debatten. Kan det være at børnene ikke er dårligere fagligt, men simpelthen ikke gider at lave testen? Eller slår den samme indstilling også igennem i undervisningstimerne, så lærerne hver dag skal kæmpe med umotiverede børn?

Jeg er glad for at se Torben Mikkelsen sige det her. Der skal ikke meget til, før der går rundhyl i danske medier for tiden, og uden at kende de nærmere omstændigheder tænkte jeg selv på, om ikke der kunne være mere oplagt forklaring end bål, brand og hybridkrig.

While it's definitely serious that a Russian frigate fired flares at a Danish helicopter, it's important to remember that a similar thing happened to a German helicopter in 2024. It would be wrong to interpret this incident as evidence of escalation on its own.

While it's definitely serious that a Russian frigate fired flares at a Danish helicopter, it's important to remember that a similar thing happened to a German helicopter in 2024. It would be wrong to interpret this incident as evidence of escalation on its own.
