I think a lot of the right is going to stay home this week. Things are awful everywhere, midterms feel less "important" when the presidency isn't on the table, but they won't vote blue. So please, please, please vote- even if you don't think it matters, even if you are exhausted. Vote.

This is just so awful on so many different levels.
And it only reinforces my increasing belief that generative "AI" is destroying our perceived reality and if we're going to survive as a society, it has be banned and any trace of it has to be found and removed.

In my opinion, if you have to hire a costume designer then you're celebrating a different Halloween from the rest of us.

I cannot stress this enough -- if you are using AI to write your emails you send to authors -- even if you are a legit podcast, or reviewer, or anything really -- we are not even reading them.
We get an influx every fucking day and we just don't read them now. We glance, see the AI & delete.
