I feel this way about continuous delivery/deployment. They're important capabilities, and: people get excited about pushing out a lot of changes, but not necessarily about learning from them.
"Higher velocity = more good" is a misunderstanding premised on the idea that every piece of work on your Jira board is there because it adds value in some way.
Once you understand that the majority of developer tickets are actually negative-value, you will become enlightened.

My reaction was "oh the bosses aren't having a good time either", that whole thing in there about WHY AREN'T YOU SHIPPING FASTER indicates a C-Suite that is simply not seeing the RoI for that token spend
Maybe even seeing customers walk over the buggy dogshit they're shipping on the daily

I think we need to take seriously that ordinary folks aren't meant to have audiences in the tens of thousands or more. This is novel and disruptive in human experiences

It's early days! But also it's so late. If you use it you'll be among the elite few at the cutting edge, but if you don't you're falling behind the new normal. You need to be using AI in every aspect of your life unless your CFO looked at the bill lately in which case don't.
