My reading project for this year is to read five biographies of Austen and then reread all of her novels in publication order.
The first biography I picked up in Bath. I finished it and am now reading Jane Austen at Home by Lucy Worsley.

Despite some recent back sliding food safety is lightyears ahead of what it used to be, like in every area; grocery stores & restaurants. Also, restaurants are amazing these days.

Whatever you do, don't smoke an entire brisket at a job interview, it's a lot of equipment to bring in, it takes a really long time to do it right and those conference rooms have notoriously poor ventilation

My sister lives in Indonesia and I asked her to get me some Pokémon cards from there. She went down to their equivalent of Walmart & found boxes of the latest set. I’m paying between $10-$14 per pack these days, she’s paying $2 a pack.
