The damage done by people like this, past and present, can’t be overstated.

There is a reason why there is so much animosity between black communities and police. And the legacy of the racist southern cop is at the heart of it.

Most cops are good people. But every one like this sets them all back.
“On Thanksgiving Day, Vanderford texted, “N—–s just f— up the holidays!!!” He added that he “just had a racist moment on Goodman Road,” a street in Southaven.”

He can’t enjoy his turkey, without the gravy of racism.

At best, "Medicare for All" is more than 5 years away.

But did you know that 2 votes could save over $300B a year and create universal healthcare NOW?

1. Repeal both ICE funding and safety net cuts in the OBBBA

2. Expand direct payments to providers.

Dolly Parton was the best of us.

She was an American treasure — a rare embodiment of talent, kindness, and generosity in equal measure.

We’ll always love you, Dolly.

I’ll always remember Dolly Parton for the fact that she donated $1 million in 2020 to the research that led to Moderna’s COVID vaccine, as well as millions more for childhood vaccine and cancer research.

She was an immensely talented, kind, and giving person.

Dolly Parton did all the good she could, for all the people she could, for as long as ever she could.

From her legendary songwriting to the Imagination Library—which sent 1 million books a month to children across the country—she was the best of America.

Dolly, we'll miss your great heart.

Voter roll purges are necessary to remove people who have passed away, moved or otherwise become ineligible to vote.

But sometimes purges can erroneously include thousands of eligible voters.

As the Trump administration ramps up its attacks on voting, it’s time to check your registration status:

US home prices just hit an all-time high with 30-year mortgages at 6.55%.

10 years ago, the average new home cost $350,000 and rates were 3.5%.

Today, it costs $540,600 and rates are 6.55%.

Meanwhile, 49% of Americans under 30 now live with a parent, up from 37% in 2019.

Crazy numbers.

Americans are united in the bipartisan rejection of expert opinions.

Right, left, and center intentionally ignore scientific and economic principles that contradict their chosen ideology.

The legal profession owes much to Cicero, but Roman leadership executed him to avoid listening to him.

Our founders hope was that we would counter each other with ideas and arguments.

Instead, we now counter each other with condescending insults and racial epithets.

After all, calling them evil does not make us good.

But it does keep us from seeing the evil we need to address in ourselves.
