I'm good with 100. If the court wants to act like a partisan legislature, let's make it one. If we're lucky maybe it'll eventually collapse under its own weight, and we can just start over.
Totally agree. It’s bad for the law if outcomes turn on a single vote. It would be better for democracy if the institutional judiciary supervened over the personality of individual jurists.

seeing a ton of criticism about this but the second paragraph of the article notes that it is a publicity stunt and that fewer than 100 will be made. only slightly further down: "there is no cloud connection, no Wi-Fi, and no artificial intelligence features whatsoever"
