I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if AI can't improve productivity of coding, then all other claims about productivity improvements are essentially horseshit.

Coding was the one thing everyone was like "well yeah of course it will be able to do that faster"
Harvard just dropped a study AI productivity in software engineering and it found the average increase in productivity from using Claude code is.....zero and for exactly the reasons you'd think

The Grand Dolmen of Zambujeiro, is estimated to date to between 4-3,000 BCE. It currently consists of a single chamber and passageway which is blocked off. One can view the interior from above the chamber, as the capstone has been removed. It is the largest such tomb on the Iberian peninsula.

Today, I will be teaching about Apep, "the great babbler", a snake that dwells in the primordial ocean, and lives on its own anticommunicative, irrational roaring. It must be driven back every night by the sun-god and his entourage.

I'm sure this concept has no relevance to our present moment...

Yes, it will never replace actually working with the original volume, but it will do the next best thing, and ensure that digital editions of precious volumes are available to researchers into the future.

The Aquae Flaviae at the Termas Romanas Chaves, named for the Emperor Titus Flavius Vespasian.

We visited on Sunday (20/09/2026). The thermal waters still flow through the complex, which was lost in an earthquake in the 4th Century CE and was rediscovered in 2006.
