Ope!
Minnesota Rep. Angie Craig, who is running for U.S. Senate, says she regrets her vote on the Laken Riley Act.

"These past few months — and that regret — have only strengthened my resolve to stand up to the Trump administration’s cruel immigration policies," Craig writes.
Angie Craig: I regret my vote on the Laken Riley Act
That regret has "only strengthened my resolve to stand up to the Trump administration’s cruel immigration policies, call out my spineless Republican colleagues and impeach Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem," U.S. Rep. Angie Craig writes.

Everything is some kind of scam these days. For the love of god, let me pay you money in exchange for your product. I want to be a customer so bad. It shouldn't be so hard. Let me watch baseball and all of your ads. You know I'd pay you a stupid amount of money to watch my awful baseball team.
MLB TV will remain $150 a season but look at this BS they’re trying to pull. You cannot “buy” MLB TV without buying ESPN Unlimited, but they give you a one month free trial, and then the hope is you forget to cancel since you don’t need ESPN to have MLB TV, only to initially purchase.

Authoritarianism doesn’t announce itself. It arrives wrapped in “security,” “order,” and “law enforcement.” Minneapolis is being used as a proving ground. If we don’t stop this now, we may not get another chance.

FOX: Where’s the protest against the regime that's killing people in the street right now?

Trent: They are doing those today. It’s called the ICE protests

FOX: Are they talking about Iran at the ICE protests?

Trent: No, I think they are talking about the regime that is shooting people in the face

If you are anxious and sad about the state of the world, that's fine, and there are plenty of strategies for dealing with that. But I think you already know that drive-by online dooming isn't a strategy. It's selfish and adolescent. It's a contagion that only spreads the worst of you, not the best.

"He did exactly what he's been taught to do in that situation."
Noem on Mayor Frey: "He doesn't know what he's talking out. It's very clear that this individual was harassing and impeding law enforcement operations. This officer followed his training, did exactly what he's been taught to do in that situation."

I don't watch Yankees games often. Do they really do that death star alarm sound every time with 2 strikes and 2 outs? And the Vader breath after? Cringe.

Planes roared over D.C. on Saturday, tanks rolled along the National Mall, brass bands resounded and thousands of soldiers marched past cheering crowds, as the Army put on the largest show of military might in the capital in more than three decades. wapo.st/4dYFOck

It hasn't been even 3 months since your vote to pass the Laken Riley Act.
In this country, everyone is entitled to due process. The Administration wrongfully deported Mr. Abrego Garcia, ignored a Supreme Court order and now they’re acting like their hands are tied. I call BS. It’s time to bring him home.

Ah sucks, he's disappointed, but what can a United States Senator do? It's not like he had any power to do anything about it.
The Senate Democratic Caucus was unified on a ‘clean’ one-month CR that would have kept the government open and given Congress time to negotiate bipartisan legislation. I’m disappointed that our Republican colleagues wouldn’t join us in that effort.
